InterUrban ArtHouse

InterUrban ArtHouse provides an affordable, sustainable, and inclusive environment where artists and creative industries can work and prosper. This environment supports creative classes, business skills, and studio artists.

The 10,000 sq. ft. ArtSpace, a former USPS sorting facility, houses 19 single and shared studio spaces occupied by 25+ multidisciplinary artists. A 3,500 sq. foot gallery and indoor/outdoor event space are used for exhibitions, classes, presentations, performances, and private events.

Events and exhibitions include Arts on Fire, annual exhibitions, and ArtConnect events. Four corporate annex spaces and nine Johnson County library locations are curated on a rotating schedule.

Classes and workshops, such as Story Harvest Writers' Lab, Junk Journal, Palette Knife Painting Workshop, and Art Journal Club, provide opportunities for artists to learn new skills and connect with other creatives.

InterUrban ArtHouse is at 8001 Newton Street, Overland Park, Kansas, and can be contacted at 913.283.7091 or info@interurbanarthouse.org. It is open to the public on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and members have access to open studios on Monday and Thursday.
